Regional Business Development Manager (Chicago, IL area based)

Role :

Regional Business Development Manager based in Chicago,  Illinois Area and reporting to the VP Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new clients by prospecting the market place, expanding current accounts, and identifying new client opportunities in Labor and Inventory Management to Logistics. Supply Chain, Distribution, and Warehousing.
  • Demonstrate excellent sales, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage with Technology team members during the sales cycle to ensure the appropriate solution and resources are being presented to meet our client’s needs

 

Qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • BA/BS required  
  • Minimum of five years consulting and technology sales experience specializing in complex solution sales to Mid to Senior Management decision makers.
  • Prior ERP or Point Solution Software and/or Engineered Solutions Experience Required
    • Software and Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing Industry Preferred
  • Hands-On, Independent ‘Hunter’ with Prior Home-Based Office Experience Required
  • Change Agent with New and Emerging Company or Division Experience Preferred
  • Works well in Dynamic Environment, Independently Identifies, Prioritizes and Executes Tasks
  • Prior Business Partner and Channel Management Experience Required
  • Prior Hiring and Management Experience Required, Sales Function Preferred
  • Strong relationships and contacts with customers and technology partners
  • Previous quota achievement and successful track record selling complex solutions
  • Proven success in carrying sales from lead generation to contract closing
  • Experience providing accurate and timely forecast updates
  • Superb communication skills - Ability to develop and deliver quality proposals and exceptional presentations
