Established in 2004, Sky-Trax Inc. was founded by three DuPont Engineers with experience in managing large material handling, automation, and data collection programs. After 10 years of individual entrepreneurial experience with 3 small but successful start-up companies, the founding partners merged their start-up businesses to form Sky-Trax Incorporated.
The company’s initial success came in 2007 with recognition of their installation at a returns facility in Atlanta, GA. This installation won first runner-up for the 2008 CSCMP Supply Chain Innovations award and gained acknowledgement throughout the industry as the next generation solution for tracking vehicles and full pallet loads of inventory within indoor environments through the use of optics.
