For complete asset and inventory tracking, the Total-Trax System is the comprehensive solution that utilizes cutting edge-technology to achieve inch-accurate tracking and real-time productivity. The Total-Trax system is the integration of two of Sky-Trax’s primary systems: the Sky-Trax System (STS) and Skan-Free. STS, a cutting edge indoor positioning system, monitors and tracks every vehicle all the time, anywhere in your facility providing precise location, direction and speed. Skan-Free automates data collection, through collecting inventory data with an Optical Label Reader (OLR), eliminating the need for hand-held inventory scanners, driver multi-tasking and data entry terminals. Total-Trax records who (truck ID), where (location) and when (time) so you know:

Total Trax Technology
Total-Trax consists of these components: (Hover over each)
With Total-Trax, each vehicle is equipped with an Optical Position Sensor which views ceiling mounted, Optical Position Markers located overhead and uses image analysis techniques to determine that vehicle's precise location and orientation. An OLR is affixed to the front of the vehicle to identify pallet ID labels. Vehicle location data is transmitted wirelessly to a controller, which monitors all vehicle locations and records every movement in an industry standard database. While data collected by the OLR is transmitted to an onboard data processor to be transmitted wirelessly back to a data collection system.
Sky-Trax’s Total-Trax system furthers accountability and safety through monitoring and recording the location and movements of all vehicles with Ops Man, the operations management screen that displays the exact location of each Total-Trax enabled “smart” vehicle. Ops Man provides full path data, speed profiles, and the ability to replay events and use popcorn trail visualization for vehicle movements.
